Rachit Baijal is a visionary social entrepreneur, dedicated educationist, and legal scholar whose career seamlessly blends academic excellence, transformative teaching, and high-impact social leadership. With a proven track record of conceptualizing, launching, and scaling innovative ventures that tackle pressing societal issues.
Rachit is pursuing his Ph.D. from Mangalayatan University, Aligarh (expected 2025). He holds dual LL.M. degrees — in Criminal Law (FS University, Shikohabad, 2022–2024) and Administrative Law (Agra College, Agra, 2020–2022) — an M.A. in Political Science (IGNOU, New Delhi, 2021–2023), and a B.A., LL.B. (New Law College, Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune, 2015–2020). His early education was completed at Birla Vidyamandir, Nainital.
As Chairman of R.C. Baijal Foundation (since January 2021) and Founder/Chairman of Visionary India (since June 2020), Rachit has built a powerful platform for youth empowerment, rural development, and policy advocacy. He established Visionary India as a think tank specifically to make young Indians more knowledgeable, capable, and competitive across sectors. His initiatives include organizing 100+ pan-India webinars and seminars on Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, constitutional reforms, media trials, competition law, and judicial services preparation. During the COVID-19 crisis, he launched dedicated helplines in the second wave, formulated a 10-Point Action Plan for district-level response, and taught hundreds of students online on Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Research Methodology, Legal Drafting, Social Science, and Rural Development.
His ongoing work focuses on PROJECT VIRTUE — a flagship holistic development program for rural and urban India — alongside policy papers on “Constitutional Reforms – 21st Century,” “Rural Development – 2030,” and “Reforms in Rural Governance – 2025.” He has partnered with C20 India under G20, designed an SOP on Flood Management in Uttar Pradesh, and is preparing a massive Clean Ganga awareness campaign. Rachit has also conducted extensive teacher-training programs, career and mental health counseling workshops, and classroom innovations that emphasize fieldwork, research supervision, and outcome-driven learning.
A prolific author and researcher, Rachit has written over 50 papers and articles on diverse, forward-looking themes, including:
